Group Use
Great Island Yoga is happy to welcome teachers bringing students!
For teachers taking a group the space rental fee depends on the length of your stay - an eight day minimum, but past customers recommend a 10 day trip -- and the time of year, which has a high and low season. Other amenities include:
- A master copy of the participant registration folder (suitable to reproduce) that covers many tips for preparing for the trip, including passport info, what to pack, health services, ecotour opportunities, etc. We can make this available to you and customize it for your needs. We will provide you with a master copy so you can reproduce it.
- A promotional 2 sided postcard setup that can be adapted with your trip dates.
- Transportation for students to and from the studio and village twice a day (a central meeting point in the village and golf cart taxi or boat launch for the 10 minute ride).
- Nutritious continental breakfast at the studio.
- Exclusive use of the space so teachers can design their own practice schedule, including evenings.
- All props included (mats, blocks, straps, cushions, some blankets). Please let us know if you have any other prop needs, we can discuss it.
- Teacher's on site accommodations.
- For some water activities, pick up from dock in front of studio after breakfast.
- Assistance in helping participants schedule ecotourism and other activities.

A nonrefundable deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the cost is required to reserve your dates upon a signed agreement, and the remaining 50% is due no fewer than 60 days from the event start date. There is a clause and conditions for cancellation -- if you find a group to replace yours, you can expect a refund when the new group signs a contract and pays their deposit.
